Modesto City Schools Governance Team
Modesto City Schools has worked hard in developing a strong governance team consisting of seven school board members and a superintendent. The school board is responsible for making decisions and setting policies related to the Modesto City Schools district operations, while the superintendent is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and implementing the board’s policies. Together, they have established a shared vision, establish Strategic Goals, develop policies aligned with the district’s mission, ensure efficient allocation of resources, and creates a culture of high expectations for staff to ensure that all students have the right conditions to achieve their potential.
